Practice in Progress

This week begins yet another exhibition for this semester! This time I am back in the Practice in Progress space supported by the SASA Gallery. Along with several other second year uni art students I have sped up my production of finalizing my painting to have displayed at the exhibition starting on Monday 25th October and extending to Thursday 28th October. In this exhibition I will be exhibiting my 'self portraits as described by a thesaurus' series.

The Twin I Never Had

I have always been intrigued by identical twins or just twins/triplets/etc in general. Having a sibling the same age and growing up together from day one. I like to imagine the special relationship I may have had if I were to have had a twin sister. Would we be mischievous? Most certainly. Would we have stayed up late talking with each other about our issues? I'd like to think so. Would we dress the same? Just for the fun of it.

Well now I can bring to life the twin sister I never had. The memories we would have shared and games we would have played. Just for the fun of it.
